Put me in the camp that supports Corvino's decision to keep the team realtively unchanged. There is enough there right now to win a CL spot. Obviously, a defensive midfielder would have been the best strengthening move that could have been pulled off in January for a reasonable price.

Clearly, everything hinges on achieving this goal of CL qualification and whether or not this goal is achieved will have a massive impact on the makeup of the squad for next year.

And, I'm with you on the dissapointment of Vanden Borre heading out for the remainder of the season. But, he needs to play and wasn't likely to get games in the first team in Florence. Someone is going to have to replace Ujfalusi in the very near future (he needs to get paid and out of him, Frey and Mutu it makes the most sense to let him walk), and I think he's the man to do it (the right back in Prandelli's system is given the most license to get forward). Hopefully he can shore up his defensive positioning and man-marking skills and be ready to contribute as a first team player come next season. I don't think that the brain trust has given up on him, not by a long shot.
