It’s absolutely touching to see so must passion from Ricky. La Viola is like family…props to Prandelli for helping to foster such an amazing atmosphere. Forza Montolivo and Forza Viola!

Also it’s cute to know that he had to resort to finding the game online just as many of us had to.

Monto was wide awake in China, cheering them on. Even though it was 2:30 am and Motta might have thrown pillows at him. Everything I read about that boy makes me fall more in love with him.

Strong showing, I think, although not as strong as it could be. We still have a bit of incoherency in the top third of the pitch, and despite some good touches today, Gila still worries me. But Mutu was solid if not showy, Kuz was on fire (most of the time), and Vargas was a terror up the flank.

I have hope, guys. Hope. Forza Viola!

Viola ready to applaud Slavia off the pitch, but the Czechs are sitting in the corner of the pitch in front of their (relatively few) fans.

And now they accept the guard of honour/terzo tempo.

Excellent match from the Viola, it easily could have been more, but 2-0 is an excellent result.
