I don’t think I’ve ever seen the qualifying rounds on TV, be it GolTV, FSC, or ESPN. Sorry man. But ESPN does carry most of the group-stages on from then, so you will be able to see your beloved Viola on cable.

last year they showed CL games on ESPN2, and teh UEFA cup matches on FSC but that was in the knock out stages

I checked TVguide.com online and espn.com tv listings and they don’t show it as being on.

i’m going to check again the day before tho, it’s possible it just hasn’t been updated.

I’m not sure about TV status here in the States, as I have not checked yet, but I assume FSC and the like will not show it. You can always stream it on your computer, although the quality can vary from suprisingly good to absolutly abysmal.

also, I watched italy this morning. Montolivo looked solid, had a shot on that required a sprawling save. played the whole match without showing much fatigue.

Hi guys,
this is a very nice blog. I am a Fiorentina fan from Florence so I have access to other channels of information on the beloved Viola, but every now and then I like to pop in here because I like to see things from an external point of view.
It’s really nice to see that there are non-Florentine people from all around the world who follow Fiorentina with such passion.

As for the news, yeah, the Champions League fever is burning here, I think they sold 12,000 tickets in 24 hours, I had to stand in line for a couple of hours to buy mine. There is so much electricity in the air, it’s great. And if until today I felt people were too busy congratulating Corvino for signing so many good players, now the whole of Florence is starting to concentrate on the game against Slavia.

PS. Latest news is, apparently Corvino had signed Goran Pandev of Lazio to replace Mutu, before Andrea Della Valle cancelled the operation. Pretty much the same as when Corvino sold Toni to Milan and bought Amauri from Chievo, before Diego intervened.
